To calculate the mass flow rate, the fluid weight which is 10 kilograms will be divided on the time of each pattern of flow in seconds. Slow flow rate: The time calculated is 49.12 seconds, the weight of fluid is 10 kilograms, therefore mass rate= (10/49.2). To obtain the volumetric rate, the resulting value will be divided on 1000 which is the density of water, therefore volumetric rate = 0.000203583 Medium flow rate: The time calculated is 32 seconds, the weight of fluid is 10 kilograms, therefore mass rate= (10/32).
